The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially begun the registration process for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP Clerk-XV). The online application window opened on August 1, 2025, and will remain active until August 21, 2025. This year, IBPS aims to fill a total of 10,277 clerical cadre vacancies across 11 public sector banks in India.




Candidates interested in applying must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The age criteria for applicants are set between 20 and 28 years as of August 1, 2025, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. Applicants are also required to be proficient in the official language of the state or union territory they are applying to.




The recruitment process consists of two stages: a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination. The preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for October 4, 5, and 11, 2025, while the main exam is expected to be held on November 29, 2025. Candidates who qualify the prelims will be eligible to appear for the mains. Final selection will be based on the performance in the main examination only.




To apply, candidates must register online on the official IBPS website, fill out the application form, upload scanned copies of necessary documents including a photograph, signature, and handwritten declaration, and pay the required application fee. The application fee is ₹850 for general and OBC candidates, while it is ₹175 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, or Ex-servicemen categories.




Selected candidates can expect a starting gross salary of approximately ₹45,000 per month, which may vary depending on the place of posting and the bank. The job offers a stable career path, regular promotions, and various other benefits such as housing rent allowance, medical coverage, and leave travel concession.



Aspiring candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline and begin their preparation in line with the official syllabus and exam pattern released by IBPS.
